Frank Lloyd Wright's architectural masterpiece is one of the best known houses in the world. Designed in 1935, Fallingwater is intimately related to the rock ledges, trees, and waterfall of the western Pennsylvania landscape which Pittsburgh's Kaufmann family used as a weekend retreat.

More than 3 million people have visited Fallingwater since it opened for public tours in 1964. All tours are guided led by professional interpreters. 

Kentuck Knob, situated just below the crest of a hill, appears almost part of the mountain. Beyond the back terrace, the breathtaking panoramic view of the Youghiogheny River Gorge and surrounding mountains add to the genius of Wright's testimony. 

Designed in 1953, the home is built on a hexagonal grid and is constructed entirely of tidewater red cypress and native fieldstone. A unique sculpture park has been integrated with the woodlands and informal gardens surrounding the house. 

Four Seasons Guest Farm exclusively offers the "Wright Package" which includes overnight accommodations at four Seasons Guest Farm and the two hour extended interpretive tour of  Fallingwater and its landscape. Fallingwater Offers a Variety of Tours:

Regular Tour- Lasts 45 minutes to 1-hour tour, featuring all the major rooms of the house. Children ages 6 and up may accommodate adults on this tour. No photography.

 In-Depth Tour- A 2-hour tour, featuring extended interpretation of the house and landscape, available at 8:30 a.m. Children age 9 and up may accompany adults. Indoor photography is permitted on this tour. 

Children's Tour- An interactive tour most appropriate for ages 5-9. Available by advance reservation. 

Focus Tour- Limited availability. A special tour with a member of the curatorial staff, includes luncheon on a private terrace. 

Land of Fallingwater Tour- A 3-hour guided tour in adjacent Bear Run Nature Reserve. Includes admission to the regular tour. Available on Saturdays, April-October.

Kentuck Knob Offers a Variety of Tours:

Regular Tour-offered at 11 am, 1 pm and 3 pm Tuesdays through Sundays. Reservations required. Allow approximately 1 hour to complete this tour, plus an additional half hour to visit the sculpture meadow (optional).

 In-Depth Tour- In-depth tours are available Tuesdays through Sundays at 12:15 pm. Reservations and deposit required. Allow approximately 1.5 hours to complete this tour, plus an additional half hour to visit the sculpture meadow (optional).
